When we travel I find it much easier to post our daily adventures to Facebook, since it's much easier to add content and interact with people. At the end of a long Disney day, I can assure you that quick and easy is the top priority.
The one disadvantage of recording the trips this way is that finding the posts at a later date is almost impossible without scrolling forever through our Facebook page feed. In hopes of helping with this problem, I've compiled a list of links to all the posts from this trip here for archival purposes.
This was our first trip to Walt Disney World as a family of four and ML's first birthday celebration (LJ did a similar WDW and DCL combo for his first birthday as well). We chose to stay at Art of Animation for the first part of our trip, then it was off to the Disney Dream for a 3-Night Bahamian cruise and then back to our favourite, the newly renovated Polynesian Village Resort, for our first taste of Club Level accommodations.
Here's how everything played out...
And that brings us to the end of my posts. I obviously didn't think our departure day was worth posting, probably because it doesn't do much for the post-Disney blues.
We opted for another night in Dallas on the way home to break the trip up and a good friend from Austin drove up for the day to show us around her home town. We visited Fort Worth Stockyards and then the Fort Worth Zoo for a super busy day to end the trip. I think we were hoping to exhaust the kids before the big flight. Whilst they slept well on the flight getting there took all our combined strength. Poor LJ was trailing behind us in the car rental return garage wailing to be picked up, which we couldn't manage while also juggling four suitcases, a double stroller, two carry on bags and his back pack full of toys, all without a trolley in sight! We'd make pretty good pack horses apparently. We survived though and in usual fashion, started planning the next trip on the way home!
